City Distributes Seven Qurban Animals to Muhammadiyah

Jakarta Educational and Mental Spiritual (Dikmental) Bureau distributes seven cows to the organization providing an integrated sacrifice service, Lazismu and Central Muhammadiyah ahead of Idul Adha 1441 Hijri.

One cow is for Lazismu and six others are for Muhammadiyah

According to Aceng Zaeni, Division Head of Mental and Spiritual, those qurban animals were a routine assistance from Jakarta Provincial Government every year.

"One cow is for Lazismu and six others are for Muhammadiyah. Its distribution matter, the Baznas Bazis will handle it," he expressed, at the Central Muhammadiyah Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (7/28).

At the same place, Jakarta Baznas Bazis Chairman Ahmad Luthfi Fathullah explained qurban animal distribution was divided into two zones, red and green in the capital.

For red zone, slaughtering would be executed at the PD Dharma Jaya and returned in the form of ready meals by involving the coached SMEs.

"While for green zone, it will be done in East Java and then returned to Jakarta in the form of processed meat," he continued.

He added the coached SMEs were involved to move the wheels of the economy of citizens in the pandemic.

"Hopefully Idul Adha this year has a positive impact on citizens," he hoped.
